This new exhibition by Franko B, Stitched Heart, is proof of an already mature awareness of layering. All of the works on display are stitched, embroidered works on paper, and all of them were specially produced for this exhibition. Soldiers, skulls, words, crosses, hearts... the ‘icons’ of Franko B are all on display. One does not need to connect the different themes, but grasp the tensions, intentions, bewilderment and ability to be, always, part of the world in which we live.
